Komarewicz: We cannot allow society to be slapped in the face by Ukrainians

Rafał Komarewicz criticized the Lviv Regional Council's decision to declare a year for UPA, calling it scandalous due to UPA's history of violence against Poles. He emphasized the need for Poland to support Ukraine while firmly protecting its own interests. Komarewicz urged Polish diplomacy to respond strongly if it had prior knowledge of the UPA declaration. He expressed discomfort over Ukraine's glorification of figures responsible for mass killings of Poles, suggesting that Polish diplomatic efforts may be too lenient or ineffective. He called for changes in personnel handling Ukrainian relations if current strategies are failing.
