Komorowski: Presidents from PiS tend to treat the constitution with disdain

Prime Minister Donald Tusk has submitted a request to President Karol Nawrocki for the appointment of Andrzej Domański as Deputy Prime Minister. Former President Bronisław Komorowski expressed confidence that Nawrocki will eventually sign the nomination, despite potential delays. He criticized previous presidents for disregarding constitutional obligations, suggesting that Nawrocki could also exploit ambiguities in the constitution. Komorowski emphasized that the constitution clearly states that the Prime Minister proposes ministers and the President merely grants nominations. He noted that Tusk has limited options in this situation.
