The Confederation presented Nawrocki with a plan to reform the Constitutional Tribunal. Reset and shortening the term of the Sejm

Leaders of the Confederation, Sławomir Mentzen and Krzysztof Bosak, met with President Karol Nawrocki to discuss the crisis surrounding the Constitutional Tribunal. They proposed two main changes: a constitutional reset of the Tribunal and shortening the current term of the Sejm. Mentzen suggested a new method for selecting judges, requiring a three-fifths majority for a 15-member Tribunal, with varying term lengths. Bosak advocated for a resolution to shorten the Sejm's term, citing government overreach and the need for legal compliance. Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki responded, emphasizing the challenges of implementing these proposals and suggesting a constructive vote of no confidence instead.
