King and queen have lunch with 'high achievers' like Suzan & Freek and Connie Palmen

Today, Zangduo Suzan & Freek and writer Connie Palmen attended the Outperformers Lunch hosted by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. The event honored 27 individuals for their exceptional achievements in various fields including arts, media, science, sports, and business. Palmen received the Constantijn Huygens Prize, while Suzan & Freek won a 3FM Award. Presenters Merel Westrik and Jeroen Kramer were also present, representing the Sinterklaasjournaal, which won the Machiavelli Prize 2025. Cyclist Hetty van de Wouw attended due to her accomplishments at last year's World Track Cycling Championships. This marks the 42nd such lunch organized by the royal couple.
