Korč is again the mayor of Frýdek-Místek. This time without ANO
Petr Korč was re-elected as the mayor of Frýdek-Místek, receiving support from 30 out of 43 council members. The coalition consists of his party, Naše Město F-M, and Společně pro Frýdek-Místek, along with representatives from KDU-ČSL, ODS, TOP 09, and STAN, holding a majority of 27 votes. This coalition was formed after the elections, excluding the ANO party, which previously contributed to Korč's removal five months ago. The city council will have seven representatives from Naše Město F-M and four from Společně pro Frýdek-Místek. Key positions include Marcel Sikora as the first deputy mayor, overseeing social issues and healthcare, while other deputies will manage finance, education, and safety. The coalition aims to prepare a program statement by the end of the year.
