South Korea warns: There may be an accidental clash with Kim Jong Un's Korea
Tensions between North and South Korea have escalated since September 21, following a mine explosion that injured three South Korean soldiers. North Korea's Kim Yo Jong announced plans to activate psychological warfare loudspeakers along the border by the end of October. In response, South Korea's defense ministry warned of proportional actions if North Korea resumes broadcasts. The South Korean government condemned the mine incident as a violation of the armistice and plans to inform the UN Security Council. Both Koreas remain technically at war since the 1950-1953 conflict ended in an armistice, not a peace treaty.
