The government has published: this is how pensions will increase in 2027

In January 2027, pensions will automatically increase by 3% due to inflation, with additional raises for lower pensions. The budget proposal includes tiered increases to support those with the lowest pensions, ensuring that individuals earning below 108,000 HUF will receive a uniform monthly pension of 120,000 HUF. Those with pensions between 108,000 and 125,000 HUF will see an additional 12,000 HUF increase, while those earning between 125,000 and 130,000 HUF will receive an extra 10,000 HUF. Further increases will apply to higher brackets, with a total of 455,000 pensioners affected. Additionally, the full payment of the 13th pension and the first installment of the 14th pension will remain. A new SZÉP card for pensioners will also be introduced, benefiting 2.2 million people.
