The government has published who will see an increase in their pension next year.

The Hungarian government announced a 3% increase in pensions starting January 2027, with additional raises for lower pensions. Those earning under 108,000 HUF will receive a uniform monthly pension of 120,000 HUF. Other increments vary based on pension brackets, benefiting around 455,000 pensioners. The 13th monthly pension will remain intact, and the first installment of the 14th pension will be paid. Additionally, pensioners with pensions below 500,000 HUF will receive a SZÉP card next year for various expenses.
