Kremlin: It would be pointless to participate in the negotiations with Europe's current attitude

In early November, negotiations regarding Ukraine's resolution are set to take place in Abu Dhabi. Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian president, stated that Europe should participate in these talks, but its current stance renders such involvement ineffective. He criticized Brussels for aiming for Russia's strategic defeat. Peskov emphasized the necessity of European presence at the negotiation table but questioned its usefulness given the current attitude. Yuri Ushakov, a foreign policy advisor, mentioned that the negotiations should ideally occur in a trilateral format involving Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine, with potential European participation later. Ushakov also indicated that President Putin would be willing to speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky if he calls, suggesting Zelensky visit Moscow for discussions. Meanwhile, the Russian defense ministry reported advances on all six fronts in Ukraine, with significant Ukrainian casualties.
