Thrift store invests 3.5 million euros in renewing store and logistics center in Maldegem

The Kringloopwinkel in Maldegem is undergoing a significant expansion with a new logistics center, backed by a €3.5 million investment from M-accent. The current site in Eeklo is too small for their needs, prompting the purchase of an adjacent building. The new store will increase from 800 to 1,000 square meters, focusing on modern shopping experiences. It will feature sustainable heating and cooling systems, and the site will be enhanced with greenery. The renovation alone costs €1.5 million, aiming to make the location future-proof. The new store is set to open after Easter, while a temporary pop-up will operate during renovations.
