Royal garden without light. Museum gives up winter illumination
The Museum of the Palace of King Jan III in Wilanów announced a pause in its Royal Garden of Light event after 14 seasons to develop a new concept. This decision follows a review of past experiences and audience expectations. The museum aims to create a modern and engaging exhibition that aligns with the historical character of the residence. Despite this pause, winter attractions like the Advent Market are still planned. The museum also recently underwent a leadership change, with Piotr Górajca appointed as the acting director after the dismissal of Paweł Jaskanis due to controversies surrounding a techno event held at the palace.
