Gábor Kubatov remains the president of FTC
Kubatov Gábor has been re-elected as president of Ferencvárosi Torna Club for another four years during the recent general assembly. Eleven candidates secured the necessary endorsements to run for the board, but after Sas Sándor withdrew, ten remained in the race for nine positions. Kubatov received support alongside other candidates, while Hidasi Gábor did not make it onto the board. Following the assembly, Kubatov was again chosen as president by the new board, which he has led since 2011. However, his presidency may be affected by a potential amendment to the sports conflict of interest law expected to be passed in November. Kálnoki-Kiss Attila emphasized the need for new regulations to separate politics from sports management, a sentiment echoed by other officials, including Prime Minister Magyar Péter, who announced strict conflict of interest rules for leaders in major sports organizations.
