The iconic place in Warsaw is back. The opening date of the Tęcza cinema is set.
The building, originally a boiler house from 1929, was transformed into a theater in 1933 and later a cinema. After years of decline, it underwent modernization starting in September 2024, preserving its historical character while upgrading to contemporary standards. The new cinema hall accommodates 145 viewers and features advanced 4K projection and Dolby Atmos sound, alongside the capability to screen traditional 35 mm films. Additional facilities include a video editing room and an educational space for workshops. Outdoor screenings and various cultural events are planned, with the reopening scheduled for the weekend of November 28-29.
