Kyivstar acquires Ukrainian cloud provider GigaCloud for nearly $50 million

Kyivstar has signed a deal to acquire GigaCloud for up to $50 million, aiming to expand its digital ecosystem. This acquisition follows Kyivstar's previous purchase of Uklon and its stake in Helsi. GigaCloud, established in 2016, serves over 1,800 clients and generated $14 million in revenue in 2025. The deal includes various financial components, with a focus on enhancing Kyivstar's cloud services and supporting Ukraine's infrastructure needs. The Antimonopoly Committee approved the acquisition with conditions to maintain competition.
