"The stakes are existential!": Thousands of Israelis living abroad are flocking to the country to vote in the legislative elections on October 27
On October 22, at Ben-Gurion Airport, supporters of the Democratic Party welcomed returning Israeli expatriates with signs and merchandise promoting voting. Batell Blaish-Sultanik, executive director of AID Coalition, distributed 'Fly & Vote' caps and balloons to encourage participation in the upcoming elections. AID Coalition aims to assist Israelis abroad in returning to vote, as only physical votes will be counted in the October 27 legislative elections.
