The lack of volunteers among PSOE militants forces Ferraz to fill the electoral list in Palencia
The PSOE's national leadership had to fill the candidate list for Congress in Palencia after the local representatives resigned en masse. This decision followed the removal of Álvaro Bilbao, chosen by party members, in favor of María Luz Martínez Seijo, a trusted figure of Pedro Sánchez. The provincial executive refused to create a new list, leading the federal leadership to intervene. The new list includes Agustín Martínez García and Rut Pérez Martín, among others. The changes have caused discontent among local members, who feel their choice was disregarded. Miriam Andrés, the provincial leader, criticized the national leadership for not adhering to internal regulations and expressed that the new list lacks local enthusiasm.
