The LFP approves the principle of a call for tenders for the television rights of Ligue 1 for the period 2027-2032

The French Professional Football League (LFP) is preparing to relaunch its television rights auction for Ligue 1 for the 2027-2032 period. The board unanimously approved the principle of this call for tenders on October 21. Interested broadcasters will have until December 3 to submit their bids. Discussions have been ongoing with traditional media and digital platforms, reflecting a growing interest in sports broadcasting. LFP President Vincent Labrune noted that recent legislative changes allow for new commercial opportunities, including the possibility of a single lot for rights.
