The public company (of Zapatero) that gave a social rental to Iván Redondo before Moncloa: "That was pure politicization"

In 2006, Fincas Corral managed public housing rentals in Madrid through the Society for Public Rental (SPA), created to provide affordable housing. The SPA struggled with inefficiency and lack of infrastructure, leading to Fincas Corral handling thousands of properties. Iván Redondo, a key political figure, rented a public apartment at a significantly reduced rate, benefiting from the SPA's chaotic management. Despite the lack of oversight, Redondo maintained his rental for years, eventually purchasing the property below market value. The SPA was criticized for its opaque operations and was eventually dismantled after the change in government.
