Injuries do not cut the streak of a Real Madrid in which Tavares is already history: top blocker of the ACB

Edy Tavares achieved a historic milestone by surpassing the ACB record for blocks during Real Madrid's victory over Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos. Despite injuries and a challenging start, Madrid secured their eleventh consecutive win in Liga Endesa, showcasing resilience. The match highlighted Tavares' exceptional performance, as he broke the previous record of 768 blocks held by Fran Vázquez in just his 408th game. The team, while not at their best, managed to maintain a strong defensive focus and ultimately triumphed over Burgos, who put up a commendable fight.
