The Ghanaian Ibrahim Mahama cultivates an art of limitless sharing

Ibrahim Mahama has created a unique artistic space in Ghana, featuring old transport vehicles as sculptures. His Red Clay Studio, located near Tamale, serves as a community hub for artists and locals. Mahama's influence in contemporary art has earned him the top spot in ArtReview's Power 100 list. He purchased the land for his studio in 2014 using proceeds from his first artwork sold to collector Charles Saatchi.
