The new Angoulême comic book festival unveils its main features

The Angoulême comic festival, previously known as the International Comic Festival (FIBD), has been renamed to "Angoulême Bande dessinée". This change follows the cancellation of the 2026 edition and controversies surrounding the event, including a lawsuit involving a former employee. The new festival will be organized by Morgane, a production company known for music events, and will take place from January 28 to 31, 2027. Major changes are anticipated for this inaugural edition, as outlined by the festival's co-directors.
