The hungary.hu website has been shut down due to a global security threat.
Several European countries suspended government websites and online services due to critical vulnerabilities in PHP. Attackers could exploit these flaws to execute programs remotely without passwords. The PHP developers released security patches, but experts warned that simply updating WordPress sites is insufficient; PHP on servers must also be updated. In Hungary, the National Cybersecurity Institute issued a critical alert and urged immediate patch installation. Minister Zoltán Tanács announced the temporary shutdown of the magyarország.hu site and other government portals as a precaution. Similar measures were taken in the Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, and France, although no confirmed breaches were reported. Cloudflare noted attempts to exploit the vulnerabilities before the patches were available.
