The Wuppertal suspension railway has stopped, firefighters rescued the passengers – video
On October 27, a power outage halted a Wuppertal suspension railway train due to a short circuit in an electrical wire. The train moved five meters after losing power but could not reach the nearest stop, leaving 24 passengers stranded. Firefighters used a ladder truck to safely evacuate the passengers, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. While the evacuation took about forty minutes, fixing the technical issue took several hours, with power restored by 4 AM and service resuming around 5 AM.
