Lebbeke starts monthly discussions for young people with gaming, gambling, or drug problems
Starting November 9, the Social House in Lebbeke will hold monthly advisory sessions on gaming, gambling, and drug use among youth. In collaboration with CGG Scheldewaas and Dender, these sessions aim to support young people, parents, and caregivers concerned about these issues. The meetings will occur on the second Monday of each month in the afternoon, targeting individuals aged 12 to 25 who may be experimenting with substances or engaging in excessive gaming or gambling. Nina Daelman, coordinator of the House of the Child in Lebbeke, highlights the need for such discussions, particularly regarding gaming and drug use in the area. The initiative aims to lower barriers for youth seeking help by providing accessible support locally.
