Amaro Leitão insists on the restructuring of RTP without increasing CAV

António Leitão Amaro, the Minister of the Presidency, emphasizes the need for a restructuring plan for RTP without increasing the Audiovisual Contribution. During a hearing in the Culture, Communication, Youth and Sports Committee, he stated that RTP can achieve financial balance through cost adjustments and revenue generation strategies. He clarified that while there will be no increase in the contribution, occasional capital injections into the company may still occur.
