Ventilator investigation: another businessman closely linked to the fraudulent company has been wanted.
The Győr District Court has issued an arrest warrant for businessman Gábor Kósa due to money laundering charges. Kósa, who was a significant shareholder in iSRV Szolgáltató Zrt. until May 2020, is linked to the controversial ventilator procurement business that allegedly caused significant financial losses to the Hungarian state. The company he was associated with, OTT-ONE Nyrt., was involved in a major ventilator deal with the Hungarian government, which has faced scrutiny for overpricing and delivering non-functional devices. Kósa's business activities date back to before his involvement with iSRV, including a stint at a company in the adult film industry. The investigation also connects other individuals and companies to the ventilator procurement scandal, highlighting a broader network of alleged corruption.
