The director general of the Serbian public service television has resigned
Manja Grcic, the director general of Serbian public broadcaster RTS, submitted her resignation amid demands from staff and the winning student list from recent elections. Grcic, appointed on February 11, served less than nine months. Her resignation was influenced by calls for accountability from various groups within RTS due to declining public trust. She stated that a leadership change would serve the institution's interests and urged the board to ensure a smooth transition. Despite earlier discussions with union representatives where she expressed no intention to resign, she ultimately decided to step down. Grcic has a background in journalism and has held leadership roles in various media organizations.
