The forester rubbed his eyes in disbelief. An unusual plantation in the middle of the forest

A forester discovered an unusual pumpkin patch in the Lubusz forest, raising concerns about the impact of garden waste in natural areas. The Kłodawa Forest District shared this surprising find on social media, highlighting the unexpected nature of the discovery. While the sight of pumpkins among trees is intriguing, it also underscores the ongoing issue of garden waste being dumped in forests, which can threaten native plant species. Authorities have warned against introducing garden plants into the wild, as it can lead to ecological imbalances. Foresters recommend proper disposal of garden waste, such as using compost bins.
