Seszták Miklós's confidant has been arrested, who could have been a money courier
A Budapest Central District Court has ordered the detention of another individual in an ongoing criminal case involving Miklós Seszták and others for accepting bribes. The charges include accepting bribes in a criminal conspiracy by a high-ranking official. The National Asset Recovery and Protection Office requested the detention, which was granted for 30 days due to risks of flight and evidence tampering. Seszták's detention has already been extended, and he is expected to remain in prison until the end of January. Previous reports indicated he might have kept nine billion forints in a safe.
