The confidant of Miklós Seszták has been arrested, who acted as a money courier for the corruption funds.
A close associate of Miklós Seszták has been arrested for his role as a money courier in a corruption case involving significant bribes during Seszták's ministerial term. The court found sufficient grounds for the arrest, citing risks of flight and evidence tampering. Seszták's detention has also been extended due to concerns about influencing the investigation. Prosecutors allege that Seszták accepted substantial bribes from construction companies, amounting to billions of forints, alongside former CEO Norbert Szivek. Seszták maintains his innocence.
