A wanted participant in the ventilator business wrote a letter to the Hungarian authorities.

The Győr District Court has ordered the arrest of two individuals related to the 2020 ventilator procurement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Bálint Májer, former CEO of OTT-One Nyrt., published a letter on Facebook addressing the authorities regarding his situation. His company was a significant winner in the procurement process during the pandemic, securing contracts worth billions for ventilators and masks. Májer, currently operating a Ferris wheel in Bali, stated he is willing to return to Hungary to address the charges against him. He expressed concerns about the lack of communication from authorities prior to the issuance of an international arrest warrant.
