Like Eni, Q8 to maintain fuel-price cap until end of the year
Kuwait's Q8 company will maintain fuel price caps in Italy, following Eni's lead. Eni set caps at 2.25 euros for diesel and 1.99 euros for petrol for 30 days to mitigate rising fuel costs linked to the Iran war. Q8 and Azerbaijan's SOCAR have adopted similar measures. Eni plans to extend its caps through 2026 after reporting a net profit of 6.4 billion euros for the first nine months of the year. Q8's decision aligns with Premier Giorgia Meloni's recent visit to Kuwait.
