A shooting attack occurred at a Greek Orthodox church in Jordan, several people have died
A shooting attack occurred at a Greek Orthodox church in Jordan, resulting in at least seven fatalities during a funeral service. The incident took place in the Karak governorate, approximately 180 kilometers south of the capital. Witnesses reported that two armed assailants entered the church and opened fire for several minutes. In addition to the deceased, ten others were injured. The attackers arrived in a vehicle and fled the scene after the shooting. The government has launched an investigation and is pursuing the perpetrators, but no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which is unusual in this relatively stable Arab country with a significant Christian minority.
