Londerzeel considers dilapidated buildings: restoration for Villa Van Assche and slow road along Beemden site

The municipality of Londerzeel has initiated plans for Villa Van Assche and the site at Beemden 34, focusing on heritage preservation, green spaces, and quality living environments. Clear agreements have been established for both projects. Villa Van Assche, which has been vacant for decades, will be restored and repurposed under a collaboration agreement that includes timelines and financial guarantees. Additionally, a new pedestrian and cycling path will connect Oudenhove to Beemden, while preserving the site's green character. The municipality is also exploring new traffic access to limit congestion in residential areas.
