Urda investigators copy audio recordings of conversations between train drivers and operators to clarify the circumstances of the railway tragedy

Investigators from AITAT are examining the causes of the Urda train accident, which resulted in 69 fatalities. They have requested complete communication records from Adif's Control Center, focusing on interactions between operators and train drivers involved in the incident. The team inspected the circulation manager's station, reviewed phone logs, video recordings, and communication transcripts leading up to the collision. As of now, they have not interviewed the train drivers or circulation managers due to their unavailability. Additionally, they collaborated with judicial police and railway companies to retrieve onboard records from the trains, although access has been challenging due to the condition of the vehicles. The data collected is under the custody of the Civil Guard.
