The Mossos turn to the Intelligence Center against Terrorism to shut down groups that encourage a new wave of disturbances: "Put on black clothes and Halloween masks"
On October 31, instructions were shared via Telegram groups named Blocus Barcelona, urging participants to wear black clothing and masks for planned disturbances. The Mossos d'Esquadra have sought assistance from the Center for Intelligence against Terrorism and Organized Crime to shut down these groups, which have been deactivated multiple times for violating service terms. This marks the first time the police have engaged this center to prevent unrest, despite the content not being classified as terrorist. The UNECI unit is tasked with removing illegal content related to terrorism and hate crimes from digital platforms. Authorities are closely monitoring these groups to identify those behind the violent calls.
