Bayer's profit soars to 2.3 billion euros by September
Bayer reported a net profit of €2.3 billion for the first nine months of the year, significantly up from €137 million last year. The company's revenue grew slightly by 0.6% to €34.3 billion, while operational results surged by 136.6% to €4.2 billion. Despite a quarterly loss of €672 million from July to September, an improvement from last year's €963 million loss, Bayer remains optimistic about the year's end. The launch of new drugs is expected to boost performance, prompting an upward revision of annual estimates, with projected EBITDA now between €9.8 billion and €10.3 billion.
