Endesa's profit rises 14.7% by September to 1.962 billion euros

Endesa, the Spanish energy company, reported a profit of €1.962 billion for the first nine months of 2026, marking a 14.7% increase from the previous year. EBITDA reached €4.577 billion, up 8.4%. The company's revenues rose by 9% to €17.389 billion. Investments totaled €1.622 billion, with a significant portion directed towards network enhancements. Endesa aims to exceed €2.4 billion in ordinary net profit by the end of 2026, despite anticipated market challenges. In Portugal, Endesa is involved in electricity production and distribution, and has secured a €600 million project for the Pego power plant conversion, alongside solar energy initiatives.
