Endesa's profit rises 14.7% by September to two billion euros

Endesa, the Spanish energy company, reported a profit increase of 14.7% to €1.962 billion for the first nine months of 2026. Revenue rose by 9% to €17.389 billion, while EBITDA grew by 8.4% to €4.577 billion. The company plans to exceed €2.4 billion in ordinary net profit by the end of 2026, despite challenging market conditions. Investments reached €1.622 billion, primarily focused on enhancing distribution networks. Endesa is also involved in solar energy projects in Portugal and has secured a €600 million investment for the conversion of the Pego power plant.
