Jerónimo Martins' profit falls 14.5% by September to 414 million euros

Jerónimo Martins reported a 14.5% drop in profit to €414 million for the first nine months of 2026, despite a 4.8% increase in sales to €27.815 billion. EBITDA rose by 7.6% to €1.95 billion. In Poland, Biedronka's sales grew by 0.7%, while in Colombia, Ara's sales surged by 20.6%. The company opened numerous new stores across its chains, including 54 in Poland and 85 in Colombia, while also remodeling existing locations.
