Montepio's profit rises 7.1% to 92.5 million between January and September

Banco Montepio reported a net profit of 92.5 million euros for the first nine months of the year, reflecting a 7.1% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The bank attributed this growth to improved commercial activity and financial stability. The banking product rose to 358.8 million euros, supported by a 4.4% increase in financial margin and a 6.8% rise in net commissions. Customer credit grew by 12.2% to 14.3 billion euros, while deposits reached a record high of 16.8 billion euros, marking a 6.6% year-on-year increase.
