Ryanair's profits fell to 2.15 billion euros in the first half of the fiscal year
Ryanair reported a 15% drop in profits to €2.15 billion for the first half of the fiscal year, attributed to rising fuel costs and lower ticket prices. Despite a 6% increase in passenger traffic, reaching 125.8 million, the average ticket price fell by 4% to €55.70. Unhedged fuel costs, which account for about 20% of total expenses, doubled to approximately $130 per barrel.
