Bankinter's profits grow 11% until September to 901 million euros

Bankinter reported a profit of 901 million euros by September, marking an 11% increase from the previous year. The pre-tax result reached 1.267 billion euros, up 10.8% year-on-year. In Portugal, profits before tax were 178 million euros, a 13% rise compared to the same period in 2025. The bank's credit portfolio in Portugal grew by 9% to 12 billion euros, while managed client assets increased by 18% to 21 billion euros. The gross margin in Portugal rose by 12%, and globally, Bankinter's gross margin reached 2.397 billion euros, a 6.49% increase. The bank's interest margin grew by 5.68% to 1.761 billion euros, with a return on equity (ROE) of 19.2%. In 2025, Bankinter's total profits were 1.090 billion euros, up 14.4% from 2024.
