Bankinter's profits soar 11% and business in Portugal grows 13% to 178 million

Bankinter's global profits reached over 900 million euros, marking an 11% increase year-on-year. In Portugal, the bank's business grew by 13%, with pre-tax results hitting 178 million euros. The strong performance is attributed to credit dynamics and customer acquisition, with a credit portfolio increase of 9%. Wealth management assets surged by 18%, totaling 21 billion euros. The bank's gross margin in Portugal expanded by 12%, while global revenues rose by 6.49%. The return on equity (ROE) stood at 19.2%.
