A young she-wolf was killed on the road. Appeal from Kampinos National Park
A report of a dead wolf was received by Kampinos National Park staff, confirming it was a young female that died in a car collision. This incident marks the seventh collision involving wolves in the park area. Previous incidents occurred on various roads, with six resulting in fatalities and one wolf surviving and relocating to another province. The park staff noted that these collisions typically happen during the autumn-winter period, emphasizing the increased risk due to animal migrations and poor visibility. They also highlighted that other wildlife, including badgers and hedgehogs, have been killed on the roads, urging drivers to remain vigilant.
