On June 25, a small plane crashed at the Provincial Road Traffic Center near Warsaw-Babice airport, resulting in two fatalities. The aircraft, which had taken off from Wrocław, lost altitude during landing and struck the ground, igniting a fire that destroyed most of it. The State Commission for Aircraft Accident Investigation released a preliminary report and sent the flight recorder to the NTSB in Washington for data retrieval. The retrieval was successful, and analysis of the data is ongoing. A final report is expected within 12 months of the incident.
