The Prime Minister announced on social media that celebrations will start on October 22. Péter Magyar outlined the following events: a torchlight procession at 4 PM from the Technical University, a memorial at Bem Square at 5 PM, lighting the flame of the revolution at Nagy Imre Square at 7:56 PM, and a gathering at Kossuth Square at 3:30 PM on Friday, preceded by family programs. He encouraged participants from all over the country to bring Hungarian flags and invite family and friends. A month ago, he had already announced that the central commemoration would take place at Kossuth Square, initially set for 4 PM.
