Péter Magyar: In spring, a joint government meeting of the Czech and Hungarian governments will be held in Budapest
Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced plans for another joint government meeting in Budapest during a press conference in Prague. He described the meeting with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis as historic. Eight Hungarian ministers accompanied him to the first Czech-Hungarian government meeting, where bilateral discussions took place. Magyar emphasized the need for joint action in the EU on migration policy, energy policy, competitiveness policies, and the EU budget. He also discussed a high-speed rail project connecting Visegrád countries, which he believes would enhance economic competitiveness and should be prioritized for EU funding in the next budget period.
