Péter Magyar: Toroczkai has sunk to a shocking depth

Péter Magyar criticized László Toroczkai for his remarks during the October 23 national celebration, claiming he misrepresented the 1956 uprising and insulted fellow citizens. Toroczkai, leader of the Mi Hazánk party, held a separate commemoration where he called for national resistance against decisions harmful to Hungary. He condemned the invitation of foreign leaders, including the French president and Ukrainian president Zelensky, accusing them of undermining national sovereignty. The Tisza government organized this year's celebrations, with Magyar also speaking at the Kossuth Square event. Toroczkai emphasized that Mi Hazánk will continue to act based on its own agenda in parliament, aiming to overthrow the current government.
