MAI expects Saturday's protests to proceed with "normality and legality"

A new protest is scheduled for Saturday in Lisbon, moving from Marquês de Pombal to Rossio, where tents may be set up. Previous protests faced police intervention, including dispersal tactics, highlighting ongoing tensions between demonstrators and law enforcement. The protests began on October 10 in Porto and October 17 in Lisbon, with police enforcing restrictions on overnight tent occupancy in public squares.
